Summary of Job:
The Retention Specialist plays a key role in customer relations. This position performs outgoing calls to existing customers to build relationships, gain sales opportunities and retain existing customers.
Retain and upgrade customers through value-based sales Update customer credit card information Enter accurate information into CIS database Utilize strong problem solving skills Maintain performance reports
Stand ready to perform additional duties as necessary to meet evolving business needs and departmental initiatives Contribute to the overall success of the department by working with other staff members to achieve departmental objectives Process subscription sales payments Other duties as assigned
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Education / Training:
High school diploma or equivalent is desired Proficient in the English language Qualified candidates will have a minimum 35 WPM typing skills

Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Good sales skills
Proficient with MS Word and Excel
