We are seeking to add a motivated, passionate Graphic Designer to our award-winning Creative Services team.
As a part of our team, you must be capable of juggling multiple projects, and able to develop and design with little to no direction in a fast paced environment. This position requires continual interaction with other departments; so the ability to work well with others is crucial. Projects are subject to constructive criticism; so the candidate we hire must be willing to receive direction and make alterations to his or her design as directed.
The successful candidate will be bright, determined, and possess an impressive portfolio, demonstrating a solid foundation for creativity.
The ideal candidate will also exhibit strong and effective communication skills along with a concise knowledge of graphic design and production for both print and web. Excellent understanding of typography, layout composition, and color theory is essential as is the desire to learn and grow while working as part of a team.
Design responsibilities include newspaper and magazine print ad design, digital ad creation, sales collateral, marketing design initiatives, and other design projects as needed.
Minimal Requirements include: Associates Degree in graphic design or equivalent training, 2 years experience in a graphic design position, proficiency with Mac platform, expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and InDesign. Familiarity with Illustrator, Flash, HTML5, branding, marketing and/or media such as outdoor, point of purchase, etc. are pluses.
